Interstate I 10 Rest Area Map

There are 20 Texas Rest Area stops on Interstate I 10. Two that are Texas Welcome Centers. The Texas segment of Interstate 10 (I-10 or IH-10) is the major East to West Interstate Highway in Texas. It runs East from Anthony, at the border with New Mexico, to the border with Louisiana in Orange, Texas.

The Texas segment of I-10 is just under 880 miles long, making it the longest continuous untolled freeway in North America that is operated by a single authority, the Texas Department of Transportation. It’s also the longest stretch of Interstate Highway with a single designation within a single state.

These rest areas are equipped with amenities such as clean restrooms, picnic areas, and informational kiosks. However, some of these rest areas may occasionally be closed due to maintenance issues.

Real-time traffic information for cities along I-10, including updates on road construction, traffic accidents, travel delays, and the latest traffic speeds, can be found on various websites. These resources can help you make informed decisions about your travel route, allowing you to avoid congestion, plan detours if necessary, and reach your destination with ease.
